Welcome to an afternoon of mischief, creativity, art, play, expression and sisterly love at Finding Saraswati: A creative workshop for women.

Saraswati is the Hindu Goddess of creativity and knowledge. In this workshop we will explore ways in which to access our Saraswati energy, discovering tools that allow this energy to infiltrate the many moving parts of our work and personal lives.

I will be sharing exercises I use to access and open creative energy on a daily basis, followed by my personal approach to painting. With my guidance, you will practice exercises as a group and spend time painting a canvas from still life options provided.

Whatever roles you fall into -- corporate, mother, student, entrepreneur, girlfriend, the list goes on -- you are first and foremost a creator, a nurturer, a woman. Come and treat your woman to paint, canvas and good friends at the next Finding Saraswati.

To attend a women’s workshop with this inspiring painter is a beautiful opportunity to explore and discover your own creative Goddess. It was so much fun to paint and discover with other women for the pure joy of the creative process. I loved it and look forward to more workshops!

The beauty that had enthralled me in Jaiya’s paintings shined through her in personality, not only was she informative and attentive, but also a pleasure to be around. I’m so glad Jaiya encouraged me to let out my inner artist, and I would recommend Jaiya’s classes to everyone!
— Jackie Berglass, Medical Student

Jaiya is a great teacher, she helps you put brush to paper and create something that you can be proud of, her explanation of painting techniques interspersed with wisdom for how to find creativity in daily life made the session above all enjoyable.
— Julia Postin, HR Business Partner

Jaiya’s workshop was a lovely and calming way to clear my head and step away from the worries of the day. Every time I’ve seen my painting since that day, I can’tbelieve it was me who painted it – and that I was able to learn those skills in such a short time! How to use colours effectively to create contrast was really enlightening, and I’d never been taught this complex theory in such a practical way that deliveredsuch great results. I’ve done a little bit of painting on canvas since, and have enjoyed putting those newfound skills to use! Jaiya is such a patient and warm teacher, who really cares about what she does, as well as caring about all the people she’s teaching.I want to do more of her workshops!
