Jaiya Bhandari Arts recognised for work with Philly  Homeless

Philadelphia Metro features art workshop led by Jaiya Bhandari as part of Pearl Street Project in China Town, Philadelphia. Leaders of the Pearl Street Project, Asian Arts Initiative, provided a grant to Jaiya Bhandari Arts to work with local homeless guests from the Sunday Breakfast Rescue Mission in a community care Color Splash workshop.

Jaiya successfully engaged with guests, the public and Asian Arts Initiative staff and volunteers to open space for freedom of expression, community bonding and increased self-confidence.

Jaiya also lead a Color Splash at Asian Arts Initiative's August First Friday event, and will lead one more with their youth group this Fall.

You can see the two Color Splash paintings on Pearl Street and contact Jaiya Bhandari Arts to enquire about adding Color Splash to your next event.
