New to painting: This is a perfect introduction to a new hobby that is exciting, rewarding and relaxing. In this class students learn the basics of oil and acrylic painting and colour theory, equipping them to continue alone with confidence.
Experienced painter: Perfect to refine and learn new techniques, or rekindle an old hobby, by empowering you to feel confident in picking up that paintbrush again. This class will leave you feeling enthused and ready to paint new subjects with new skills.
Once you purchase the class I will contact you with dates and times available for booking, and request information regarding your level of experience and preferred paint (oil or acrylic). Please note that materials are not included.
For an Oil Painting Class you will need:
Oil Paints: Cadmium Yellow, Cadmium Red, Titanium White, Burnt Umber, Ultramarine Blue
A mixture of flat and round synthetic or hog brushes
Non-harmful solvent e.g. Zest-it or Sansodor and glass container with lid
Tear off palette paper pad
3 small canvas boards e.g. 8 by 10 inches
For an Acrylic Painting Class you will need:
Acrylic Paints: Cadmium Yellow, Cadmium Red, Titanium White, Ultramarine Blue
Tear off palette paper pad or plastic palette
A mixture of flat and round synthetic brushes
Water and container for water
3 small canvas boards e.g. 8 by 10 inches
