Inspired by the concept of Rasa in Ayurveda — the many “tastes” of life — this piece is a celebration of emotional depth and balance. Joy, sorrow, softness, intensity — each feeling exists in relationship to the other. Without one, we cannot fully understand the rest.
Drawing from iconic Bollywood imagery, this work reimagines expression through bold colour, striking features, and intuitive brushwork. Referencing Meena Kumari in Pakeezah, the gaze captures a moment of feeling — raw, recognisable, and deeply human.
